Subscribe For Yourself

Please don't use this section to send gift subscriptions because the follow-up letter gives instructions, "If you did not enter this subscription..." If you want to send your friends gift subscriptions to the Daily Devotional, please use the Send Gift Subscriptions section.

To enter your own subscription, enter your bare e-mail address in the box below and double-check the spelling. You will be asked to activate your subscription through an e-mail link.

ATTENTION! Those who have e-mail spam blockers on their own computer, or who use spam-blocking services that require a response from the sender, or who use Internet Service Providers with a high level of spam protection should remember either to disable spam protection or add our e-mail domain "@daily.presbycan.ca" to their safe-list or allowed-list to ensure proper e-mail delivery of your verifying e-mail and your devotionals. Otherwise you run the risk of and your e-mails being blocked, filtered, or delayed.

While Your New Subscription Is Being Confirmed On Screen
Confirmation is also being sent by e-mail immediately along with your first devotional, so by the time you check your e-mail box, it should already be there. If you do not receive a confirming e-mail after you have registered, you have made a mistake in your e-mail address. You should come back to this site and enter a change. New subscriptions begin tomorrow.

E-mail a Sample Devotional to Yourself

Sending yourself a sample does not enter your subscription, but only sends you a copy of today's devotional. Enter your bare e-mail address in the box below and double-check the spelling.

Send Gift Subscriptions

You must be a subscriber to send gift subscriptions. If you are not, your e-mail will be automatically entered as a subscription. If you are a subscriber, make sure that you use the address to which Daily is currently delivered.

Your name is required because, out of courtesy, a brief note explaining that you have sent gift subscriptions to the Daily Devotional will be sent to each friend.

To enter your friends' gift subscriptions, just enter their bare e-mail addresses in the boxes below and double-check the spelling. You can send from 1 to 5 addresses at once. They will receive a copy of the Styled Text Standard Music Version with instructions on how to choose the best version for their computer.

Sample the Various Versions of Daily

Because Microsoft and Netscape took different directions in playing midi music files, we have developed five different e-mailed versions of the Daily devotional (see the description below). Extensive testing has shown that there is no way to predict accurately which version will work best with a given e-mail program or computer, so you should request a Sample Set to try out all the versions before you switch. The Sample Set demonstrates only the format. Requesting a Sample Set will not subscribe you, but will enable you to choose the right version for your computer. While your request is being confirmed on screen, the samples are actually being sent by e-mail, so by the time you check your e-mail box, they should already be there. From the sample you prefer, subscribing is just a click away. If you do not receive the samples within a reasonable time, you have made a mistake in your e-mail address. You should come back to this site and double-check the address you entered.

A Description of the Various Versions of Daily

All the Styled Text Versions have colour, graphics, bold and italicized text, and require a Styled Text-capable e-mail reader.
