[Previous Our Readers Respond ] Thanks Jackie for sharing. God bless. Truly appreciated your devotional today. May God bless you and your writing. Good morning Jackie and thank you for your delightfully encouraging devotional today. A fantastic devotional. Brought some tears to soft heart. Thanks for sharing. Thank you for your message. It’s obvious that you possess an attitude of gratitude. Blessings. Dear Jackie, I really enjoy your story "Rainbows As Reminders". Thank you. Jackie, this is awesome and thank you fo sharing with us. I enjoyed your devotional and ask that God will continue to bless you and that you will continue to share them with us. Good morning Jackie, What a lovely reflection! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and the beautiful reminder of God's grace. Blessings for the day and the new year. Dear Jackie; Thank you for sharing your story of having to deal with a "stroke" in your family. As you probably know, I am dealing with a stroke victim myself, my husband. There are days when I could scream out loud and find myself frustrated and alone. Thank you for your timely devotional this morning and the reminder that He who holds you and I during this time of healing, in His palm, is with me and you. Amen. Jackie, Eleven years ago my husband suffered a stroke and three days later miraculously walked out of the hospital. Our journey was not nearly as long as yours...except for his writing hand, he regained his strength rather quickly. However, the experience is still with us, and when we pause long enough to be grateful (probably not as grateful as we should be) we are aware that we were truly blessed with God's ever-present hand. Thank you for this message. (Texas) Dear Jackie: I can in a very noticeable way relate to your experience. We are both retired. I have been sidelined with medical problems that put me in a wheelchair! What a blow! I had always been very active physically, teaching Bible studies etc. I have great doctors Plus NO pain for which I am very thankful. Now the Lord has brought a new physiotherapist who is doing wonders to get me walking again. Blessings on you. Good Morning Jackie: Your acknowledgement that God is not limited in the ways He reminds us He remembers and keeps His promises to us is a beautiful testimony after all you have been through the past several years. Making progress in recovering from a stroke is never, never easy and takes a lot of hard work, patience and determination for both the patient and caregiver when working together to stabilize ones condition. You are to be praised for your good work and are indeed blessed the urgency has passed and the dust has settled. Praise God. We just never know what is ahead for any of us and with this in mind I am very conscious of your words, "we may not know what our future holds, but we know the One who holds our future. We can depend on Him! Thank you for the assurance HE is always there. Re: The Roller-Coaster Ride by Rosemary Hagedorn, Wednesday, January 4, 2012
