Keep the faith and blessings to you and your family. Good to hear from you again ,Rod. I too can atest to the faithfulness of the Almighty when the world around is failing me. Blessings. Dear Rod, I really enjoy your story "Living". Thank you. Thank you for this powerful testimony. You have encouraged me and helped me to focus in the right direction. God Bless You. (B.C. Canada) Hello Rod Thanks for your devotional. I needed to hear that today. My husband is in hospital and his recovery is expected to be long and painful. Dear friend in Christ; Welcome back. I have missed your devotionals and been concerned regarding spiritual, physical and well-being. God is still in control. Praise His most worthy wonderful name. Been there - done that! Why can't I recognise a drainhole for what it is? Until I am al-m-o-s-t--- wow... He's there! (BC Canada) Thank you for your message Rod. 1 pray for your family that they will be will and happy and blessed. Love and Blessings to you all. Dear Rod: Thank you for your thought provoking, prayer provoking Devotional. Keep up the good work of doing God's will. The rewards are too numerous to mention. Rod: Not only are you sustained, but God working in you helps all who read your devotional. It is interesting that you can be identified right from the start. Thank you for the help you supply to us all. Blessings, (BC, Canada) Rod: You have been in my prayers before, & you & your family will be there again. I have missed reading your devotionals & now I understand why your messages for us have been absent. May God give you courage & strength to carry on! I wish you peace, (Quebec, Canada) Fellow traveler, if wife Caroline can say "Amen" to this...: "Caroline even suggested that I go to the doctor for help. However, I praise God that when I called on Him as I found myself on the threshold of being sucked down the plughole of despond again, He answered my prayers and plugged the drain." ...then '"fine" and I thank the Lord with you - else still take her advice! Great Devotional Rod; good to here from the land of my ancestors ha!.Ha!. Upon reading your past demise I thought "I've been there and done that". It all reminded me of a scripture that's been ringing in my thoughts. "A man heart plans his way but the Lord directs his steps" (Proverbs 16:9) May God bless your family and work. Dearest Rod, What a wondrous work He has done and is still doing in your life and Praise Him for giving you the ability to share it so beautifully. Excellently written and heart-felt devotional today. May our God continue to be the center of your life and continue to bless you as he already has so abundantly. Your across-the-pond friend in Christ. Rod, I'm so grateful that you shared with us today. I pray that God will continue to guide and direct us in doing his will and that you and your family will be blessed with a wonderful New Year 2012. God is awesome. Please let me share with you that yesterday I celebrated over 30 years of Sobriety. "Only by The Grace of GOD," AA and many prayers and lot's of help from other people in recovery. Thank you Rod. Dear Rod, I have given thoughts to the topic you discuss today. Dwelling in what has negatively happened in the past can be destructive. Our Lord helps us in our present circumstances as we call upon Him, and future situations are better left to Him. Praying that you will be victorious over what seems as burdens too heavy to bear. I Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. (NLT) (California, USA) Rod As I was taking in your message, it struck me that in all manner of things that come upon us, God is in control. I do find it difficult at times to submit to that calling. Especially when health wise I have in the past never suffered but of late thing are at a turn about and I can not control it. I appreciate your sharing difficult times, turning to God and finding peace through submission not only on your own but with the intercession of others. God Bless. Rod, Thanks for this. I am in a bit of crack at this time my self. My company has been sold; I'm 59 and I have a new boss who seems to pride himself on being rude to me and everyone else under his sway. So, I have asked God to show me His way once again. As we say in Texas, this is not my 1st rodeo and God has saved my hide in the past many times. Keep me in your prayers and keep writing. God be with you and yours, (Texas) Re: A Royal Celebration by Lori Ciccanti, Friday, January 6, 2012 Amen! Dear Lori: Thank you again for your Devotional.
