[Previous Our Readers Respond ] Wonderful insight. Thanks for sharing. Dear Pat, This is a powerful truth we need to be reminded of! Blessings on your ministry. Our church is sponsoring a workshop on rest and then you show up with this devotional. Perhaps I should take note! Thanks! That is a lovely devotional Pat! Isn't it wonderful just to "be still and KNOW that He is God?" Thanks for sharing. Pat, Thank you and let me say that I enjoyed this very much. In his name let's give thanks together today and always. Dear Pat: Thank you for your reminder of the power of the breath of God. He can fill us with life anew with His sweet breath! All praise to Him this day. Wow Pat - I loved this devotional! It gave me a new understanding of Psalm 46:10 and what it means to be still in the presence of the Lord. Blessings. Thanks, Pat, for this message today. Too often I forget that not only did God create us but he energized Adam & continues to energize any who listen and accept his breath. Blessings. Dear Pat, I loved your devotional from today. It is very Inspiring. I will re-read it again and again. Thank you for writing it. Beloved Pat This is lovely. you wrote a very inspiring, heart warming devotionals. I think of the song "Breathe on me breath of God, fill me with life anew." I am also reminded of Romans 8:26. The Holy Spirit lifts up our supplications with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. I always imagine him breathing out prayers with deep sighs on our behalf. How blessed we are. Thank you again dear friend. Blessings. Pat, in teaching the sounds of the alphabet phonetically, hold the palm of your hand an inch from your mouth and make the H sound, like breathing on a window to fog it up. Feel the warmth of your breath? Now, palm still at your mouth, breath "Thank you" Thanks. Good Morning Pat, A lovely message of reminding us every breath we take is a gift from God and we should indeed be so very thankful for it. Your words were informative, inspiring, and indeed a challenge for me to present my Heavenly Father with the praise He alone deserves for His gift of the breath of life. This was indeed a teaching message. Thank you. Dear Pat: thank you for writing this today. I lost my best friend of many years ago..no more breath in her body. We had a wonderful friendship. I am saddened beyond words while Jesus is still giving me breath. May I give praise to him for giving me such a friend and such happy memories and use my breath to ask for forgiveness and believe that our sins are forgiven. It's just awhile that we will all be in heaven and know each other again. Thank you again, your words just filled my heart this morning. (OK. USA) Pat: Thanks for your devotional! There is another interpretation of God's name that you might like to consider/add to your thoughts below. My Hebrew friends tell me that the Hebrew "Yahweh" translates as "Being", which the King James composers translated as "I Am". Perhaps it represents some form of the verb "to be" which might represent "existence". (God was speaking to an Israelite in Hebrew. He always speaks to us in our own languages.) Perhaps what God was/is trying to tell us is that 'We Are' Spirit; our Soul is Divine; we are not 'merely human', but 'humans Being'. When asked what was the greatest of the laws of Moses, Jesus he quoted Moses, "Thou shalt love Being, thy God, with all thy heart and mind and strength." "I Am" a man, a husband, a father, a Christian, a Presbyterian, a Rotarian, a Scouter, a business man - all of these are holy, and I should take responsibility for Being holy as I daily devote my Life. Re: A Word To The Whys by Mary Daniel, Sunday, January 15, 2012
Dear M,
Yes, Christ's resurrection is proof! Mary: Thank you. Constantly coming to my mind is the instruction "Wait on the Lord". Whenever we are frustrated, downcast, or have any problems, and we ask God for help. we may not get an immediate answer but we can rest assured always, that there will be an answer. Blessings. Re: PCCWeb Daily Devotional
Thank you Robin!
Thank you. I’m glad the problem with the devotional has been discovered and is being rectified. I pray that Robin will not have too much stress over the various changes that are taking place. I clicked on "Alternate Version" yesterday, not knowing what that would do, and it seems to have done the trick. The music did not play in today's devotional. Thank you for your prompt reply. I like this version. Thank you. I have tried both your new formats and fond the print is too small to read comfortably. Is there any way you could increase the size to the old format?
