[Previous Our Readers Respond ] Wonderful insights Rod. Thanks for sharing. Thanks Rod for yur meditation today. I do pastoral & pallative work here & you explained things so well to help folk in their grieving. Thank you Rod. I'm sure your words and the genuine kindness with which they were offered, were comforting to your friend. Such a profound analogy. Thanks for sharing with the pccwebdaily readers too. My friend told me she was just totally "lost" after her spouse died. Blessings. Rod, it is so good to have you share with us as it always is. I thank you my friend. I pray that God will continue to bless you as you are a blessing to us when you share with us. Rod - It's interesting that you have written about sorrow today. I'm thinking of my sister who went to be with the Lord a couple of months ago. God bless you, (California, USA) Dear Rod: Good morning and thank you for your Devotional. Always a word off comfort and hope! Blessings from a Canadian sister in Christ. Thanks Rod beautifully presented. I have a terminally ill wife and I am, after 50 years of marriage, wondering how I'm going to handle her loss. Of course we are praying for a miraculous healing. The strange thing is, in spite of this the Lord seems to be expanding my borders in men's ministry. Praise be to God. Good Morning Mr. Marshall: Warm words of Wisdom and Assurance. Wisdom in that you did not forget to be warmly aware of the fact your friend's heart was broken and she was indeed suffering a great loss due to the passing of her sole mate and dearest companion. Often when we hurt, all we really want is for someone to love us and to let us know they care. Which you did by presenting words of assurance as you so able provided scripture to comfort her in the fact that she would one day be united with her loved one in Glory, John 14:2. God's grace is indeed a mystery and His loving concern and provision for us during our time of sorrow and stress is so comforting when we are assured He is ready to stay with us the extra mile. A beautiful message for one to receive following the death of someone you love dearly. Dear Rob, I. too, have been recently widowed. Last night I found myself weeping again as I tried to deal with the pain of being alone. I was overwhelmed with the feeling that I cannot cope alone. But I KNOW that my husband is safe with his Saviour and I also have His help day by day. I believe His Word! Your message this morning is exactly what I need to hear. Praise the Lord and thank you for posting it. May God bless you and continue to make you a blessing. Dear Rod, I want to thank you and your e-mail friend for the sharing of this devotional. I am amazed at how timely the messages and thoughts that are shared in all the devotionals, submitted on this website and this one being no different. This week I received a call from a dear aunt who told me that her husband had just passed away the night before and we spoke for a few minutes. I wanted to say more to comfort her but was feeling rather inadequate over the phone. It was my intention today to send her a card expressing my sadness for her loss. Once I read this devotional I knew I had to enclose a printed copy of it along with the card. This says what I could not say earlier. Thank you again for sharing with us all. Corinne,
Re: PCCWeb Daily Devotional
I am not interested in any version of music that you offer. However I finally discovered that
by not clicking to get the heading for the Daily Devotional, I also did not get any music.
