A Word About Copyright
In answer to several requests, we are now providing links to popular hymn websites for public domain words to the music that plays on our site each day. Canadian copyright law permits the performance (including recording) of copyrighted music for non-profit religious purposes, but does not permit the reproduction of the words in print, except for brief quotations, without permission. Most of the old hymns now fall in the public domain, and the words to them can be legally reproduced on the Internet. Unfortunately, most of the modern, popular music is copyrighted and cannot be reproduced without permission. You have clicked on a hymn or song that is either copyrighted, or one for which we have not yet traced the words. If you do find the words lawfully reproduced on the Internet, you are welcome to inform me at rross@telus.net so we can add the link.
